My name is Lia Zero
I’m an artist, designer, and woodworker.
I design and build unique furniture, accent pieces, and fixtures.
I deeply appreciate the industrial design concepts of the early 20th century. Back then, objects were not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. My work reflects this approach by focusing on both practicality and artistry. I love working with wood as a base material, which I use to create pieces that radiate warm tones and soft edges.
My background is in theatrical technology and electrical engineering. I have designed and built scenery and effects for productions of all sizes. I can achieve a unique and captivating aesthetic by incorporating theatrical construction methods and iterative engineering principles into my work. In addition to wood, I often use metal, 3D-printed elements, glass, tiles, electronics, and paint to bring my creations to life.
I recently relocated to Southern Virginia and am in the process of setting up my workshop space. I look forward to continuing to create beautiful, functional, and timeless pieces.
